Q: Why did you move your blog away from Tumblr? I thought you loved Tumblr?!
A: You are right; I do love Tumblr for its social aspect. I originally planned to host my personal website and Court and Snark on Tumblr.
However, I realized that I could no longer operate professionally as a social media consultant with such an informal and unstable platform. I had to do the move to Weebly because it was much more stable and it offers the capabilities and flexibility that Tumblr simply cannot.
For nostalgia, I will keep the old site at http://elainesantore.tumblr.com. It will stay there as long as Tumblr is in existence, or Tumblr decides to charge for use, and I promise not to change it.
Q: How is this website different from Court and Snark?
A: I will be posting more personal content and non-political material on this website. Occasionally, I will be cross-posting material on both sites. Each site will have a tab to click over directly to the other. And you can subscribe to updates on both sites.
